If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you know I’ve been training for the princess half marathon I completed a little over two weeks ago now. As I dragged myself across the finish line after being awake for seven hours already, I earned my bling, but not without a learning experience along the way. It’s been a while since I updated y’all on my path of training to complete first half marathon, the Princess Half at Walt Disney World. With only 6-ish weeks left before the big day (February 21), I figured I’d share where I’m at in my efforts to reach my goals.

I started this journey in March 2015 getting ready for the Princess Half marathon with Nicole and her sister-in-law. Since then, Nicole’s husband, her brother-in-law, and my sister have joined the running posse. I wanted to take time to reflect on this experience and what better way to do it and inspire others to reach their health goals than a blog post?
