So much for getting this done before we left for our next trip! Before I move on to our July Coronado Springs trip, let’s flash back to our two amazing days at the Polynesian Resort before getting on our cruise.
I don’t know if I’ve been more MIA in a month of blogging than I have this past month. Between the day job, side hustle, and training for another side hustle that I hope will become my main hustle/day job eventually… the blogging side hustle was pushed completely off the plate. I also got a new computer and my usb died so I lost all of my blogging templates. (You can so obviously tell from last month’s budget.) Shopping was also off the plate for the majority of the month. Could you ever tell it in my closet too. I unpacked last spring’s wardrobe only to find that there has been some weight gain since last spring, which was upsetting. So I purged. It left me with very few tops that fit and were nice looking. Everything was either too casual or too nice. There wasn’t a lot of in between left. Also the dresses dwindled. But enough background– lets get down to how I did on my March 2016 budget.

Madewell makes some seriously well made pieces. Their flannels aren’t excluded from that quality. While their prices are steep, sales come often and shipping is free. Being a part of the J. Crew family, a promotion on a sales price is bound to align for the item that’s on your wishlist. This year, I bid a fond farewell to my perfect shirt in black watch plaid. There was no plaid as perfect as that color combination to me. I have one light weight flannel I picked up last year and then this brightly colored version from October. Both I really like and have worn, but none of them stacked up to the black watch plaid I love so much. In an effort to find another just as comfortable, I tried both the Madewell Cargo Workshirt Flannel and their Ex-Boyfriend Flannel and discovered two very different fits.
In an attempt to shorten the reviews part of my Budgeting Bloggers post, I decided to start doing reviews posts in addition to my Budgeting Bloggers posts a few months ago. This month, those the two posts are coming fairly close together. I did so much shopping since Black Friday that there was no way I couldn’t do a separate reviews post though. Let’s start with the yeses, but no prices until my budget post on Monday!

First up, the Antibes tee from Anthro. As much as I used to shop at Anthro,
